2024 Playbook Football Questions Interviews

1. What is your primary style of handicapping?
Well football is different then all of the other sports in Football I like too start my handicapping week on Tuesday or Wednesday writing down my initial likes for games on Saturday and Sunday for NFL and College Football then revisit it in Thursday and Friday to see how the market has moved when looking at Bets and action received on a game. I also look at game trends for each game who a team has played prior and coming up if a team is on a bye week or and extended home or away stretch. I also like to visit the message boards and Youtube video comment section to see who the average bettor is in love that week and look to go opposite if I can back it with trends and numbers.

2. What is your “golden rule” of handicapping?
Always stick to betting the same amount per game with a rare exception if you have a GOY type of play.

3. What is the first thing you look for when handicapping a game?
Who the betting public is favoring and if the line has moved accordingly.

4. Which team statistic do you value the most?
All depends on the sport but in football I like to look TD’s off turnover ratio.

5. What do you like the most about the expanded college football playoff?
More big games that mean more for the teams and that usually gets more action on a game and produces games that are easier to read from a betting standpoint.

6. Which college football coach commands your attention from a handicapping perspective?
I think Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss never afraid to run that score up if he has the opportunity.

7. My all-time favorite college football player is:
Herschel Walker

8. Which college football team is most likely to win this season's playoff?
Ohio State IMO has the most motivation combined with the players and schedule to get the job done. They have upgraded their coaching staff and beefed up using the transfer portal and surely will want to stick it to Michigan this season.

9. Biggest surprise college football team this season?
As much as I hate to admit it I think we will see the Miami Hurricanes surprise people they have made some nice additions that should translate to wins in that conference.

10. Biggest college football bust this season?
I think the Michigan Wolverines will be a big bust this year much like TCU was last season they just do not have the horses to get the job done this season and look for them to be bet in heavier then usual to start the season which should give us some opportunities to make some easy money.

11. Biggest NFL bust this season?
I think the biggest bust this NFL season will be the Cleveland Browns I still do not think they have the quarterback to get them to the next level after seeing him in action. Does Deshaun Watson have the will to play anymore after that getting that huge guaranteed contract?

12. Biggest surprise NFL team this season?
I think the Pittsburgh Steelers will be very good they are one of the best coached teams in the league and now they have Quarterbacks that can get the job done and win them some games.

13. Which NFL team is most likely to win this season's Super Bowl?
I am going with the San Francisco 49ers this team is deep and with a low salary yet at starting QB just 1.04 Million cap hit this helps them across the board as far as stacking talent.

14.  My favorite all-time NFL player is -
Reggie White on and off the field

15. NFL MVP this season will be -
Brock Purdy

16. NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year this season will be -
